Standard camo colors but very interesting splotch pattern. This was a bring back piece from a 91st Division soldier. Retains portion of the liner. A really striking piece with a not often seen pattern. Sold
If large flags aren't your thing..this one isn't for you. But if you've been looking for an original SS barracks or headquarters flag this one is a beautiful original piece. The SS runes are printed, not applied. Comes with several photos and obituary of the soldier who brought it home. An absolutely original one looker in excellent condition. Sold
A nice variety of 6 interesting and different WW1 German rings that I've gathered over several years. Sold
A very nice original stein commemorating the service of a Baden reservist name Grimm who served with Baden Dragoon Regiment No. 21 from 1908-11 and participated in the Kaiser Maneuvers of 1909. A beautiful piece that is in overall excellent condition with the exception that the rider has been broken or removed from the horse. If you did not know the horse was supposed to have a rider it would be hard to see where he had been. Many years ago I had a conversation with a German stein collector who said that it was not unusual for families of cavalry troopers to remove the rider if the trooper had been killed in WW1, similar to the tradition of the riderless horse at funerals for cavalrymen. An interesting theory if one could establish that Reservist Grimm served in WW1 (most likely) and was killed in action. This one however, is priced as an original piece, but with a missing rider. $200.00
Very clear photo of German sailors. One sailor has a cap ribbon to a torpedo division and still others to a Halbflottille. Reserse needs to be translated, but looks interesting. Very good condition. Sold
